Technical Background
Brightwell Aquatics Coral Inertia NRG+ is a comprehensive blend of marine proteins, amino acids, and omega-3 fatty acids (including EPA and DHA), enriched with natural pigments and essential carbohydrates.
Research shows that corals in stress rely more on external feeding for nutrients. While Coral Inertia NRG+ does not directly reverse bleaching, it offers the essential nutrients needed for potential recovery, enhancing survival chances during zooxanthellae re-acclimation.
Instructions & Guidelines
Shake well before use. Turn off protein skimmer and mechanical filtration for 10-15 minutes after feeding.
Target Feeding (Recommended)
Use a syringe, pipette, or dropper to feed. Mix 5 ml (1 capful) in a small container. Discharge 2-4 inches upstream of the corals. Rinse feeding tools after use to avoid contamination.
Food Soak
To use as a soak, add up to 5 ml of Coral Inertia to a container with food and let it soak for 5-10 minutes before target feeding.
Broadcast Dispersal
For entire aquarium feeding, add up to 5 ml per 50 gallons of water in a high-flow area every 2-3 days for the first 4 weeks. Gradually increase dosage if desired.
Dosage Tips
Add no more than 5 ml total of liquid food suspensions per 50 gallons in the first four weeks of use. Start with a low dose to allow biological filtration to adjust, preventing water quality issues. Target feeding is preferred for better nutrient absorption by corals to ensure the product does not end up in filtration media or indirectly impacting water quality usually seen in broadcast feeding.
